Maybe it was when Nami got sick but I recall Sanji saying that diet being the problem was impossible because he very carefully plans her meals to maximize nutrition and taste, in contrast to the boys who probably just eat whatever they want. When I think of Sanji's day to day, it involves a lot of meal prepping and planning for everyone, factoring their likes and dislikes, etc. He has quite the responsibility!

I notice Sanji often separates from the group to get a step ahead, comes out like Jack Sparrows cleverness
-Little Garden he pretended to be Mr 3 and told Croc all the strawhats are dead, along with getting the logpose.
-Alabasta he Mr Prince tricks Croc and rescues the crew from the cage
-In Skypeia he destroys Enels ship gears while he was going up with Ussop and Nami
-In water 7 he decides to split up and wait at the sea train cause that's the main exit off the island, and lo and behold he's caught up to Robin
-in Enies Lobby he closes the gate while everyone is fighting

If sanji didnt follow robin at water 7, she would have left without anyone knowing and would have been executed before the strawhats could do anything to save her, this man saved robins life, not to mention opening the gates of justice at enies lobby.

What's insane about Sanji is that his goals and dreams are far from the pursuit of power and strength. He spends his days cooking and simping yet he is highly capable in combat and intelligence. Definitely the coolest character in the series.
