I've been there exactly 1 year ago, and it was just amazing. The feeling you have by walking through the toriis is simply unexplainable; it's like a mixture of joy, excitement and peaceful sensations. Best place in the world to me.

i really like how your videos are "quiet", rather than adding music and endless commentary, gives me more of a "being there" type of feel...

Fushimi Inari Shrine has been on my "to visit" list for as long as I can remember. I also like Kitsune (fox) legends!

The shrines I visited in Kobe and Kumamoto were moving experiences for me. This one looks like it would be a great way to spend most of a day. As for future videos, I'd like to see something about Hokkaido. I know you've mentioned in the past that you've never been there but you'd like to see it. It looks a lot from what I've seen like B.C. and Washington. Thanks for posting all these videos, it makes me want to return to Japan!

I like that you didn't add back ground music for this video. Hearing the visitors' chatter and them mingling about and exploring the sites and the ringing of the bells really makes you feel like you're there with you and let's you feel the setting of the video as much as is possible through a video.

Great video. I remember my first time there, it took forever to take a decent photo with so many people walking around, so I imagine you had to be pretty patient.

We went on a late afternoon hike and we made it to the lookout just before sunset. Got so many amazing photos and videos watching the sun fall behind the horizon.

You have no idea how fascinating it was to listen to that middle bit of footage with no commentary, and no music. The sounds of the place were so interesting to focus on, because they're so vastly different from any sounds I hear on a daily basis in my area (Toronto!).

That is probably my favorite place in Japan. It was raining pretty hard when I visited, and it made the place even more magical.

Fushimi Inari Shrine was beautiful when I visited! Probably my favorite place I got to see. I'm so glad you went to the top because it seemed like most people only saw the torii gates and missed out on all the beautiful stone shrines further up. The view of Kyoto that was almost at the top was amazing as well. Awesome video!

It was one of my favorite sights that I've seen. What a beautiful shrine. Way too packed with people but still a wonderful energy.
