Who remembers looking to see owned your book prior to you? And putting covers on the book so they can continue to be passed down for others? We did that in elementary school.

I miss how care free i was. I miss being able to get up, eat breakfast, go to school and hang out with friends, come home and go to my friends house, then tuck into bed at night all without a care in the world. I wasn't worried about working, i wasn't worried about if ill make my bills this month, i wasn't worried about what ill be able to eat, i wasn't worried about anything at all back then and that is what i miss the most.

Growing up in the 90’s hit totally different. These kids don’t live nearly as care free and happy as we did as kids.

There's a sadness that fills me when I watch these videos. I know I can never go back to those days, everyone seemed full of life and for those of us that lived through those years we know life was much simpler then😢😞

Real talk, these vids are making me super humble right now. I was born in 82 and have seen or had 95% of what I've seen so far. Life is grand but also sucks when looking back at the simple things we experienced and enjoyed.

The Scholastic book fair. Man... I would read one of those guides front to back looking for everything I wanted. That one hurt the most for me out of all these. This channel is breaking me.

I feel sadness 😔 at times. i wish i could go back to that time when i didn't have to worry about much. Instead, i had plenty of fun for random goofy things 🤪 being an adult is difficult. Something i wish schools taught us along the way. How do you have gratitude for the things you have and not to worry about what you don't have, which causes a lot of stress? Having volunteer motivational classes about life itself and self-love is what schools need ❤

What I miss most is were cheaper people were nicer and not everyone has lost their minds like they have in today's society....if people lived like we did back then now they would think differently...it's sad it had to go by SO quickly....but that's life
