This is my review of the MOFT MagSafe wallet and stand for the MagSafe compatible iPhone 12 models. This wallet carries 3 cards and has 3 different viewing options when it comes to being a phone stand. How does it compare to the Apple MagSafe wallet and is it a better option for half the price? I am a huge MagSafe fan and I use the iPhone 12 Pro Max every day. Since I have the Apple wallet already, I would use this as a stand for my phone in landscape mode. This is a great video for helping me figure out if this stand meets my needs.

I was just about to ask for your honest opinion about the magnet strength of the Moft wallet, but searching for 'magnet' in your comments provided me with an answer. I was looking forward to buying the Moft wallet, but many users express disappointment in the magnet strength. I believe the magnets on a MagSafe accessory should not be weaker than Apple's magnets in any way.

This is actually perfect for the iPhone 13 Mini.

I just bought it and I can say that of all the 3 viewing modes. The portrait and floating works the best. The landscape mode would also work but not as great as the other two given the smaller size of the iPhone 13 Mini.

With regards to the issue of the grooves affecting the use of the phone when use handheld, honestly don't mind it (given the small size of the iphone 13 mini, it actually makes it more better to hold in some way)

I absolutely love mine. I will say there is room for improvement. I believe the stitching quality is an issue and it would be best if they improved on that and perhaps add a thumb slide hole on the back. Other than that, Moft has it spot on with functionality especially with the kickstand, the floating mode, and the grip feature. I actually find this more comfortable than a pop socket. Moft if you’re listening, improve on the quality of the stitching, add the thumb slide hole on the back and you have yourself a winner here!!

Hey just so you know, I have this wallet for the iPhone 11 and the stand when holding is supposed to be used as you would a pop socket. I usually put 3 fingers inside and my pinky behind and it makes it super secure when holding the phone. I just saw you mentioned the line feel on the back and didn’t want you to miss out on yet another functionality of the wallet. Thanks for the vid!

Good review Robb but you failed to mention you can pop out the stand as a popsocket like sleeve for your fingers

I’ve had this wallet for just about a month now and I friggin LOVE IT!! I have 4 cards in mine and it still hasn’t stretched, the stand is just genius and useful. When it comes to the quality I think they stepped it up a notch. No more sharp edges and the stitching is great. Overall this is a wicked wallet and puts apple wallet to shame. Just forget the apple wallet and grab the moft. You won’t be sorry

I hear the magnet connection weakens when you put more cards in the wallet. Does that seem to be the case in your experience?

I have the apple wallet and had since launch. I HATE it. $60 and I’ve already ripped the top trying to get cards out. Cards are hard to get out. Even Had it a few months now, zero stretch. Going to try Moft next. Thanks for the review.
