Why were Din Djarin's parents in the Mandalorian wearing red ceremonial robes? Could they have been members of one of the most ancient force cults in the galaxy?

Ooh I loved this video! No one else on YouTube that I’ve seen has delved into the importance of Din Djarin and his family all wearing red robes in the flashback scenes. I think this will definitely be meaningful to the story of why it was so significant that he saved Baby Yoda.

Major error at 4:15 "Jedha specifically Jedha city *is* home to a lot of pilgrims"

Should be past tense *"was* home"…

I just realized Jedha is basically the Jerusalem of Star Wars

“Pheraps din dijarn was in a cult or religious group”

Season 2 ep 3: ah yes

That would be a very interesting turn of events, if true. It would make Din Djarin's meeting with The Child seem destined by The Force.

Considering what came to light in today’s episode, he is still in a cult.

George Lucas was on set for Rogue One, I guess he put Disciples of the Whills in Rogue One. Sneaky George Lucas.. :)

I was REALLY hoping that Allen would take his helmet off at the end and it would be American Ben or something lol.

Could have been worse, the sequel trilogy could have revealed that midichlorians were in fact _Thetans…_
And then Tom Cruise and Jon Travolta could star in the trilogy.

When you’re just trying to celebrate life day but you get accused of being in a religious cult

Interesting 🤔 So how much does Din understand about the Force? Maybe he wasn't taught to think of it as a way to move objects with the mind, but as more of a spiritual thing. So he didn't recognize what the kid was doing. And as for speculations about Din being Force sensitive, maybe he's got a very subtle connection, or a broken connection because of the trauma he went through.

Two tiny details in season one stood out, Mando's fam with their funky robes, and the woman with the kid on the planet where Mando meets Cara Dune who was suspiciously good at firing a blaster. I do hope both of those things are expanded on as the series progresses.

I thought they were robes for Life Day.

A lot of people know that before Dave Filoni worked on Star Wars he worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender, but his very first animation job was actually King of the Hill

One thing the red robes are also connected with life day celebrations as well

Every detail in this series has purpose. I think you have a valid point here
