Krishna Explains Kaliyuga To Pandavas

As per Shrimad Bhagavad on the ninth day of the Mahabharata war between the Pandavas and the Kauravas, the third yuga which is the Dwapar Yuga had ended and the last yuga which is the Kali yuga had begun. However, because of the power of lord Krishna, Kali could not spread throughout the earth and was restricted to the battlefields and war grounds. Although the full effect of Kali yuga, started after the demise of Shri Krishna, Krishna knew very well what would Kali Yuga bring along. As per the Uddhava Gita and Shrimad Bhagavatam, Once the four Pandavas Arjuna, Bheema, Nakul and Sahadeva asked Krishna, What is Kali Yuga? ". Krishna smiled and said "Let me demonstrate to you, the situation of Kaliyuga." He took a bow and four arrows and shot them in four directions and ordered the four Pandavas to go and bring them back. Each of the four Pandavas went in the four different directions to search for the arrows.

Because a lot of this is already happening: Ganga is very polluted, the elders are starting to die from diseases like dementia, the young are very often either neglected or spoiled, people work too hard for too little compensation, religion has fragmented into many different sects and paths.

We are basically in the Kaliyuga now in the worst form. But some estimates of when it’ll end doesn’t make sense, like i saw for another some thousands of years. I don’t want to see this planet go through more horrible things and kids being born into starvation, etc. then it makes me think of my purpose on earth at this specific time and i have a feeling i’m here to see it all end or at least get a small look at the conclusion. Or to see this earth become peaceful and reach enlightment among everyone. Because if not any of that, just to pay bill until i die and watch this place burn and get worse is honestly no point to see. I rather see results or very good progress to a goal or a conclusion for the ending
