I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Every time I think they've learned their lessons, the Pokémon games disappoint me again and again. I only hope this is a step in the right direction no matter how small

A bit of a weird comparison maybe, but this game reminds me of Xenoblade X, the way you have a home-base and the whole game is exploring everything outside of it bit-by-bit by doing small individuals tasks that amount to more progress throughout the game
