She truly was the Queen of the desert. From the World War I period until her death she was the only woman holding political power and influence in shaping British imperial policy in the Middle East. She spoke five different languages..she was also friend to T.E. Lawrence! Bell was not only an explorer, she was a damn spy for the crown! This movie should echo Lawrence of Arabia...It took place during the very same time!

This looks lovely! I am definitely going to see this and "The Ottoman Lieutenant." I wonder what is starting the trend back up making films like "The English Patient" and "Lawrence of Arabia" again, but whatever it is, I am happy that movies like these are still being made.
