The problem with mine was the tracks. They had become brittle and would break just sitting on display. I took one long piece of adhesive backed rubber tape and placed it along the inside diameter of each track, that held the sections together nicely. Then I sprayed many thin coats of liquid black rubber on the tracks until they became evenly incased. They look great and should stay intact for some time to come. Looks great! My second favorite vehicle after my 1965 Hasbro jeep, which is solid and complete. Love how you used the pen to replace your missing exhaust pipe, brilliant!

As a kid I attached rope to the front of mine, removed the turret, and re-enacted the tunnel scene from The Great Escape. Them were the days.

I have one: the exhaust is detached but I have it and the same can be said for the driver's hatch. The flags are missing too.
