RESIDENT EVIL 2- Claire B Chess Plug Solution

This is for the playthrough for Claire B.

Left wall: Queen, Bishop, King
Right wall: Pawn, Rook, Knight

I just figured it out! If this doesnt work like mine didn't try this.
Right wall L-R King, Queen, Pawn. Left wall L/R Bishop, Rook, Knight.

Not going to lie I couldn't figure it out. Leon's turn to do this was easier.

This is outdated, this is the correct order;

Facing the bulletin board and desk, place the plugs in the new order.

On your left, from left to right, place the plugs: Queen, Bishop, King (in the case marked Knight).

On your right, from left to right, place the plugs: Knight, Rook, Pawn.

This is how you do it
Left wall Right wall

1.bishop 1.pawn
2.rook. 2.queen
3. Knight. 3. King

Put the pawn and knight in their spots with their picture so the knight horse picture and then pawn with its picture

Playing and knowing ACTUAL chess actually makes this puzzle HARDER than if you knew nothing about the game. Secondly, being an adult with logic as well as having a good eye for 3 dimensional geometry actually hinders you FURTHER. My mistake was trying to follow the non elaborate note board message's instructions, while trying to somehow line up the chess pieces like they are on a real chessboard. Third in the instructions it says "facing." This is a deliberate term to throw you off as if you look at the actual plug with the horse ( knight ) on it, it faces "looking / facing" to the left when plugged in. Touche' CAPCOM, Touche'!

I did everything same your video i try another not work...

Then i fix with this ..
Right wall from left to right
Kinght, Rook, Pawn
Left wall
from left to right Queen, Bishop, King.

for me it was:
the wall near The Main door is : Bishop - Rook - Knight
the other wall : King - Queen - Pawn

I agree with you guys, I think this chess puzzle on Re2 Remake with Leon and Claire is so hard and super tricky. Definitely not easy at all for me.

I didn't understand that the horse didn't follow it's inscription, I thought it meant some kind of chess terminology with that

2nd run not sure if it matters but if the line starts with rook and knight are on the same wall it goes


Right wall. Pawn queen king left to right


Left wall bishop rook knight left to right. This is on the second run of non rt the older version not sure if it matters tho

The puzzle makes alot more sense when you finish it. The instructions just make you over complicated things, I would have easily gotten it if it stated which walls I was suppose to put them at. Really annoying puzzle
