I didn't realize I was going against Hikaru until I started wondering why he was moving so fast lmfao. This was a lucky win for me since I just randomly threw moves and hoped it worked in which it did 😅. I can't celebrate too much since I know I wouldn't win against him in a real game, but Im glad I was able to go against him and just experience how a GM plays 💞. (Yes I was super happy when I realized I won the game 😂)

I once beat Hikaru on his speed run on his TrixR4Kids account. He was at 2900 something. I was on the rating chart and saw a dot high up there so I figured why not give it a shot. Once the game started, I realized it was Hikaru's speed run account that I had seen from YouTube. Needless to say, I was locked in. I crushed him...

He resigned the game before it began. Or, to put it more accurately, upon seeing I was a measly sub-2000 he attempted to abort the game but had evidently done so too many times to the point where he auto-resigned. He didn't notice until chat informed him. It still showed up as my highest rated win on my profile. Still counts in my heart. Should put it on my resume.

For anyone wondering: even if he didn't sacrifice the bishop and blocked that check with any piece or moved the king none of it would have worked. Same with escaping the king to f1 or h1 instead of taking the rook. It was forced win for black after Hikaru played Ne6. Very well played by black. 👏
