Hey Brian, for people with crv questions, I used an ek motor mount on the drivers side with the crv engine bracket. I ended up drilling another hole 3/4” lower and it worked perfectly. If you use a 2/3 bolt post mount from a civic/integra then the civic mount will bolt right up. So anyone wanting to do a j crv or H2b or k crv just buy ek mounts made from hasport and bolt them in

With the type R lsd going into the 2000 GSR, you need to either source a type r final drive countershaft gear or replace the final drive gear on the LSD with the one from your GSR. The type R differential ring gear/final drive gear is different than a GSR. But there are plenty of aftermarket solutions for keeping the type r final drive, if thats what you want. And also plenty of videos about swapping the final drive ring gear.

A correction at 02:56 the K24z Civic si have also 49 pin ecu not the 48.
As i am making a video series for the K-swaps in CRZ and Fits. but i cant find any other k series cars which have 48 pins ecu like GE8 Fit.
ZF1 CRZ and 8th Gen si have 44 pin ecu.so thats a nice pair to do swap.
The GK Fit is also a 49 pin aswell as ZF2 crz.So in both those k24z ECU is ideal.
but still i am searching for suitble ecu for k swap in a GE8 fit.
I hope Brain will guide us with his immense knowledge.

No need to de-pin and ground E1 on a JDM ECU (PRD/PRC). Doing so, will force the fuel pump to be always on, with ignition.

Simply De-pin E1 and re-pin it as E10.

Funny. I literally just finished my b20b swap on my 99 manual awd crv. The b20z2 it had got a burnt valve. So got a jdm engine. Bolts right up. And the great thing about it. Since its a b20b head now, i can buy all those nice aftermarket parts lol.

There was a k24a2 swap in Malaysia, they found that k20z axle were bolt on and its half shaft.this engine comes in FD2 civic there.not FD2R

I'd love to see what it takes to swap the L15B7 and trans into a 7th Gen Civic Coupe (EM1/2). I really like the powerband of the new Si, but I am extremely partial to the weight/ergonomics/looks of the 7th Gen.

I'm doing a bone stock b20 awd 5speed swap into my ee4. I'm welding in the trans tunnel bracket and all. Plan to put in this h22a I have via qsd h2b kit. I'm assuming I can still run my da gsr intermediate shaft. Not quite there yet. Gonna tune in and watch this just to see what you cover. Thanks for the support. Like your content.
