13 MUST Have Undervalued Players (2024 Fantasy Baseball)

Projections and rankings are valuable resources to utilize throughout Spring Training, especially as fantasy managers are preparing for their upcoming drafts. But those projections and rankings aren’t 100% accurate, otherwise, fantasy baseball would be easy.

The data shows that some players are overrated, and some are underrated. Identifying these players can be the difference between winning your league and missing the playoffs altogether, especially if you have that knowledge prior to your draft and can use it to your advantage!

Batting average is more important than people think but so is OBP. These stats usually reflect a player that will also give you runs and many times steals. These categories can also help in RBI but usually more in runs. If you're on base, good things can happen. It also can translate into less KO's, and in most of my leagues batting KO's is a negative category that's used so managers don't just load up on power hitters. BA and OBP are more important than people think.

Mullins was a top 25 roto player and balling very hard last year when the groin got him. Was on pace for 100rbis and hitting lefties just fine. Also was playing defense at a gold-glove level.

I had first pick and I am already in round 8 and 9, with 3 pitchers, 3 infielders and 1 outfielder being acuña. what do you recommend my strategy to be now? should I still keep going pitchers and then outfields or just go all in now in outfielders? keep in mind its 20 rounds.
