Please reduce the score of English Proficiency Test like OET, IELTS. Currently, many European countries have unnecessarily demanded marking criteria. And this epidemic disease has created a serious problem everywhere, and you have a shortage of personnel. Then open the door to foreign nursing staff and provide pre-service training to the staff. And pay the staff well so that the staff will be motivated to come to work in your country. Having enough staff will reduce the problems faced by the health care department, the workload. And foreign nurses will get employment.

You cannot have a serious critical conversation about the National Health Service in the UK. You’ll be maligned.

Similar situation in germany. Health workers are complaining now for decades (imagine) and nothing changed at all. When covid came a lot of people didnt want to get vaxxed, especially the younger ones, but it was made mandatory by state, so lots of people got either fired or left the health industry. Instead the german government said it would pay extra money to those health workers working, but what happened? Nothing, I dont think they got their extra payment, just some applause. Although I think germany is a good country with quite direct, but decent people, the politics is just a farce.

They want to fill doctor vacancies but don't want to provide training to them to become specialists and don't want to recognize the training of those that are already specialists. They deserve all of this and even worse.

Recruit 50, 000 nurses by 2024 from India and also for 12000 doctors also from India.

Move the bed blockers into the reception area where they can wait to be collected. Then throughput can speed up; i.e. beds will be freed up; therefore people can get admitted to the hospital; therefore ambulances can drop and go out on new calls instead of hanging around for hours.

Simple! Recruit Hong Kong SRNs. They need help brushing up on (UK) English, though!

Shouldn't have mandated the V then should they. As a nurse myself i would not and still havent taken the V. Nor will I.

RN here, it's 2024 and I can say with certainty that it's no better!! I have 12 pts every shift, many are acutely unwell, requiring a lot of attention or drugs. You barely have time to go to the loo or have a break and everyone snaps at one another because they're quite literally being run into the ground. Complete lack of focus on improving working conditions which in turn will improve staffing retention and productivity of nurses and care outcomes for pts. System is heading for a full blown landslide.

But the service in the UK is poor, there is no organization and dynamics in teams. People don't take work seriously, that's why there are a lot of complaints because everything is not as it should be.Europe is very professional and hardworking

I know that within the nhs there are psychiatric wards and if someone isn't a qualified psychiatrist then they wouldn't know if someone has a mental health problem ever. That's the stigma and they also forget people can be imprisoned illegally in a psychiatric ward. It is the same as being arrested for an offence you haven't committed and then being released. With a psychiatric ward employees do not understand much if they are not qualified in psychology. If there is no offence committed then they shouldn't be taken to a psychiatric ward at all.

UK doesn't need to worry. The number of nurses in India is above the total population of entire UK. Indian nurses love to come in a western country like UK than coming in GCC.

Monthly salary of a nurse working 6 days per week in India is between 50 pounds & 100 pounds. But in UK it is 2000 pounds as starting (Note : 3-4 days work only in week).
Rishi Sunak knows it well.

The only way to overcome NHS crisis is to reduce the OET cut off. A lot of my nursing friends are dreaming to come in UK. UK give good family benefits also.

If UK reduce the cut off of OET again, they can overcome the NHS crisis. very easily.
