I could honestly write an essay about this moment ... the raw connection between the two in which they're facing off without using a single word. Just demonstrating they have the ability to bring the other pain, keeping their power at bay as a warning to the other and yet not making a real move due to their bond. Ugh ... the CHILLS

People keep forgetting despite how badass, psycho and insane Fives is, he cares heavily about his adopted siblings.

Remember the Board and how he swept through them mercilessly and ruthlessly like it was nothing? Did it in mere seconds. He can literally do the same thing to Vanya, surely before she could even lose her sub-conscious and use her powers.

Now, I know what she can do and I’ve seen what she has done. Space-Time when mastered trumps all that. If you understand the basics and the extremes and how POWERFUL someone with space-time is, you’d understand thought I’m not going to use that logic.

Vanya is definitely has more raw power but no self-control, let alone any training (power wise and combat wise) compared to Fives who is a 58 year old man in the body of a teen that has like three or four decades worth of training as an assassin, multiple combat arts, weaponry of all types, and he’s an unpredictable psychopathic genius. if you compare all those stats, they’re about evenly matched or Fives has an edge though we’ve see how crazy powerful an unhinged Vanya can be. Without plot armor though? It’s like Batman vs Superman. Without plot armor, Superman is slaughtering Batman. Without plot armor, all the insane and crazy feats we’ve seen Fives do? He’d more than likely be able to do to her.

Idk why most people are discussing who would win this fight. To me this is more of an emotional scene with powers dashed on top - it showcases the bond they used to have and the fact that there's unresolved resentment/tension between them, much like you would see siblings fight. But I don't think either would ever actually hurt the other.

I wish S3 had actually given Viktor and Five more screentime because they just don't make sense anymore, they start being the family member the other loved most to almost indifferent strangers in S3 and I personally don't get it. These two are THE showrunners, as much as I love the entire cast it's Viktor and Five that drive the plot - so to drop them without any explanation made no sense to me. 45 years trying to get back, 17 years waiting for Five - and then they just end up kinda ignoring each other. Disappointed because this is a very interesting relationship and they could have done so much more with their bond

People really think this scene is about who's stronger or who'd win. Let me tell y'all something. Neither was Five scared of Vanya, hurting his family was the last thing he'd want to do so that was the reason he had that expression and nor did Vanya (Viktor) backed off because he was scared, nope. They both didn't want to hurt each other but if Viktor disagreed, then there's a high chance that Five would've knocked him off and take him with him. And now, let's talk about strength that y'all are so worked up over. In terms of raw power, Vikote is obviously more powerful but over all if they had a fight, Five would've won with all those teleportation, time travel powers and experience.
