HTS promise ‘salvation government’ for Syria with Assad gone

Syrians are continuing to celebrate the fall of the regime that oversaw every part of their lives for more than half a century.

And here in Damascus, the new self-proclaimed ‘Salvation’ government is taking its first steps towards remedies for what they’re calling a ‘catastrophic’ situation - and saying all rebel groups will now be dissolved into a new national army.

I am watching this videos and the freedome of people of Seriya and crying all these days because I know what is the dictatorship government and we people living in this kind of government feel when we are free. I am from Tajikistan and we have same government in our country and I lost 19 members of my family, friends. They just killed because they wanted to live in free country but our government captured and killed them all. I am on run with my family to find a safe place to live with my family. 32 years of my life was on fear, problems and now I don't want my children face these problems. I hope one day we the people of Tajikistan will see the freedome from the dictator. I am so happy for these people and fully understand them, they deserve to live better in a free country

4:50 I am a non-religious European(because I see that everybody accentuates that they are religious) and I would expect vengeance as well, if I were a Syrian. Putting unrealistic expectations on them to treat their killers with indifference. Some Western countries still have the death penalty for serious criminals - why is there a different standard for these people…
