MASSIVE DJI Avata 2 Firmware Update V01.00.0209!!!

DJI just released a major update for the Avata 2. This update includes support for their previous Motion 2, Remote Controller 2, Goggles 2 and Goggles Integra. The new firmware also includes D-LOG M color assist and a bump up in slo-motion with 4k 100fps. Watch to video to hear why I'm questioning the release timing of this firmware.

I'm excited about this update because I currently have the Avata 2 to link to my previous goggles and controllers. But, for those that have been waiting on the sidelines to buy the drone only, it's still not available for sale?

You're one of the bigger drone channels on Youtube so please make a call to action video before June 12th for all DJI flyers to write or call in about this DJI ban bill they are trying to pass! People need to be aware and taking action and the best way is for all the big Youtubers to make a call to action video! This is so urgent!

They did the packaging for the Avata 2 drone .
Crashed my Avata 2 drone.
Got a replacement through the care program drone only package

If doing it through the app, remember to go into the fly app first, your profile, then ABOUT, then update the version of the fly app, otherwise, the firmware update may not be visible to update. Nothing with DJI is easy or straightforward, it seems.

DJI one more time shooting the selves in the foot with the update, they should make it backwards compatible not forwards compatible, the point is for people to be able to upgrade their gear and still use it with their older gear, not the other way around. All they need is O3 support on new goggles 3 and controller 3, and I bet you a lot more people like myself would be buying the new avata2... I have 6 quads with O3, but I still fly with the big goggles v2 and the big black square controller...

I'd love to be able to upgrade to the smaller goggles 3 and controller and fly with my o3 quads, and the new avata 2 would be a great addition to my drone collection as its flight time is way better than my other FPV quads...

Nice. What about the other way round? Are the goggles/controller 3 now compatible with the older Air Units (2?) l have a small cinewoom with the previous version of the Air Unit that is not compatible with the new Goggles or Controller :(
