For some reason her very name seems to bring salt in the comments from people that believe she somehow didn’t deserve to win in Rio. Well, I think it’s awesome that she’s still going, regardless of her results!

Sanne put the art back into artistic gymnastics. I've missed these creative dance like movements that make her appear light on her feet. Before she came it was just a series of flips and twists and pounding on the beam for points with a little razzle dazzle of the hands.

Sanne is my favourite. Less tumbling, more dance moves. Dance moves are my favourite thing in gymnastics.

Does she have trouble doing a hands free back tumbling move? Her acro connection seem easily for her caliber of gymnastics. Didn’t Nadia do an and arial cartwheel to back handspring in the 70s?

I think one of the two BHS was supposed to be a fulltwisting BHS.

I kept replaying her routine in Tokyo and couldn't understand how she didn't qualify for finals. They said that the execution was good, but the difficulty was low. After watching this video I realized that at the Olympics she changed the Okino for (what looks like) a Kochetkova.

It's always a combination of difficulty and execution, everybody will be nervous in Tokyo, so saying upfront that she doesn't have a chance is quite rude.
