I've been playing punknrock for a while and I've actually come to love the Buddy Rich signature sticks. They're beefy yet highly mobil.

I have both Vic Firth and Wincent, but I like Vic Firth more. The feel is superior. Good Job Vic Firth 🇺🇸

I've played all brands, models and sizes of sticks since the 1960's. My favorite is the Vic Firth wood tip hickory stick in 16" length. Within this category there are a lot to choose from which I group according to the the venue I play to match the cymbal sets I use. I'm a jazz player.

I use the 2B, I did use Thomas Lang`s sig stick and it felt great in my hands but was a bit too loud (for my band mates, lol)

My favorite stick at the moment is the MJC1, I bought a pair some time ago and it's still lasting! Haven't found them in stores in a while so I'm back to the 55A and 5A for the most part.

I've been playing the drums since May of 2024 and I've stuck with VF 5As the entire time. In fact I'm still on my original pair!

+vicfirthdrumsticks *Having broken Ludwig®/Conn-Selmer 3S's way short of expected lifetime in the '80's, * I've developed a penchant for marching sticks, preferrably 17" length, at the kit; for my own TAMA®/Hoshino® poplarbuilts, I chose the vfSRHN Ralph Hardimon CORPSMASTER® and am working on a full bag of EVANS®/D'Addario® heads: EMAD Heavyweight kick batter, EC2S Frost batters (I _really_ want Heavyweight Reverse Dot Coateds across the toms, but Evans only makes 12", 13" and 14", and I've 8" to 16" even sizes) and G14 resonants (the stock 7 mil heads don't hold my target pitches) on toms, and HD Coated staccato batter and Hazy 300 reso on snare. OtOH, the YAMAHA® RY2T4 kit and MSD12AF center drum at OMS Japanese Christian Church (Walnut Creek, CA, USA) have a history of overprojection and I've chosen ONYX batters and G14 resonants for toms for the next rehead and plan on testing the vfSAT2 Ahmir "?uestlove" Thomson Natural model.

American Heritage (maple) 5B is the best feeling and sounding stick I have ever played in my 40+ years of playing.

My stick of choice is the ROCK model.
A 2B stick with longer length for leverage and power, short taper for durability and projection and a beefy oval tip for loud, powerful and full sound on the drums and cymbals.

Why can't I purchase the G.Harrison
Signature model without the grip material? I'm sick & tired of my hands turning blue from sweat.

I've notices that there is a big difference in thickness between the 5A and 5B ? 1/4 of an inch in circumference, you could even see it, is there sticks that are in-between these two ? thanks

I personally run metal n’s. Slightly more reach but the same pop as a 2b

I had a Vic Firth nylon tipped 7A American Classic and it is quite strong. However, nylon tip is not a good choice as it pops off.
