How Pharmacists know so much about Medications #shorts

When I was a student I was always in awe of how much drug knowledge the pharmacists I worked with had.

They knew so many dosing regimens, side effects, and drug interactions off the top of their heads, but how did they do it? Practice.

As a pharmacist, you see many of the same disease states day after day. For me these include things like appendicitis, croup, preeclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhage. Because I see them all the time, I eventually got to a point that I didn't have to look up the dosing anymore. I just know the guidelines and recommends. I know the max dose and dosing intervals, but it took time.
