So, it was finally time to bring the outdoor orchids in for the duration of the winter. My adventure over the last few days deciding how to do this has reminded me of several other considerations for your orchid growing hobby. Better to always be mindful and thoughtful, rather than caught off guard (as I have been from time to time!)

Some very pertinent things to think about on the orchid growing journey. When I started out some 20 odd years ago we didn’t have the internet to help with research, so I bought many books and magazines, more added expense! Now due to health problems I’ve had to take a few steps backwards, reduce the number of plants and think more on the lines you’ve just spoken about. I only have a small patio and created some space in our already crowded living room. It takes a lot of consideration to figure where and how I can now take care of the plants without spending too much money and controlling the impulse to keep buying more plants. I have to satisfy myself with just watching YouTube videos and admiring what others are growing. I’m sorry about the long winded comment but your video was just what I needed to remind me where I’m going with this hobby. Thanks for a great video.
