I don’t think there’s an nba player as cool as Kobe. His swagger and the way he moved on and off the court was just unmatched. No wonder why he had so many fans.

Arguably the most skilled player of all time. Nobody spent more time in the gym!

Other than the fade away jumpers, Kobe loved that baseline drive reverse dunk.

His basketball IQ was out of this world. His work ethic was unparalleled and beyond reproach. He was the epitome of greatness, and one of very best who ever played the game. Kobe, you were a true legend of the game. R.I.P.

I am a die hard Suns fan.. i remember when my Suns were the two seed playing the 7 seed Lakers in 2006.. everyone was picking the Suns to win in four or five... I remember telling everyone that would "but they have Kobe Bryant!".. to most, including all the sports analysts, it didn't matter, the Suns were so much better as a team.. but I knew better. Kobe Bryant at that time was the most dangerous player in the NBA.. going into that series, I was terrified. I thought that the Suns could be the first two seed to lose to a seven seed in decades. And I was right almost, Kobe Bryant darn near won that series all by himself, took the Suns to 7 games! Kobe Bryant was the second most clutch player (Jordan being first) I've ever witnessed with my eyes. In my humble opinion, he is the second greatest basketball player in history. I know there is a Jordan vs LeBron debate.. but I agree with Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson, y'all just going to pass Kobe Up!?! If I wanted to win a game 7 with all the chips on the line, I take Kobe over LeBron 10 out of 10 times. Kobe Bryant is an assassin... Not only is he the second greatest player that ever lived, but I don't think it's even close. LeBron James is definitely top five, but he ain't no Kobe.. as a Suns fan, I never once feared LeBron James like I did Kobe Bryant.

Kobe is quite underrated as a passer. Most ppl tend to overlook his playmaking skills because of the fact he is primarily known for his tremendous scoring abilities. Kobe 24 is pure brilliant, simply because as his athleticism went down, he could easily adapt his game & still dominate thanks to his crazy footwork as well as incredibly amount of different skillsets.

watching Kobe play is like seeing poetry in motion, the pivots are a stroke of genius...one of the most beautiful fadeaways in the history of the game with what I would say is the best footwork to match, he was surgical.

Kobe’s incredible work-ethic, IQ, and competitiveness were his greatest skills. He didn’t even have to be 6’6 to be great, it just made him even better; that’s why he respected Iverson so much.
