Unboxing: 2024 Matchbox Collectors - Mix 1

The first mix of 2024 has dropped with 5 models in the mix. I do address 2023 collectors and the models that did not release for 2023.

Just checked my Lexis LX model and it is just like yours with cargo in the back. The hatch is certainly hard to open but the rear window was in its proper place. It would be nice if this line is given the premium treatment, metal on metal just like the HW premium lines.

I sent out an email saying I found this mix today. The Bugatti looks great, but having two other versions of it, I will let someone find it and enjoy it. The lexus suv casting looks great, and I picked it up. The Mitsubishi was gone. The wheels are small for the casting but I can live with it. Otherwise the casting will be small when it scaled to the tires. I look forward to comparing it to its toyota suv counterpart from howheels. The set looks good.

Haven't found ANY new Matchbox Collectors lately. I was able to get the '78 Dodge Monaco police car at a Target in Florida when I was on vacation! But I doubt there will be new Matchbox Collectors sold in my area.

The Ford is the Standout. "The Endless Summer" was a 1966 movie/documentary about surfing around the world, great vibe and worthy of the collectors line. Hate Bugatti wheels and matte paint, but gotta have. Mitsubishi is ok. Worst possible color on the Lexus, mine also had a popped out window, and I have the same cargo as yours on the green and white. Nissan is good.

Not happy at all 😢, the Bugatti have horrible spoiler.
Now I get into pink slips, suspension, rubber wheels, detail!!! = well spend money... Next level of beauty... including the uglys(Audi+hammer) when u take it out of the package...you going to be happy!!

Did you know there's an Australian exclusive Nissan Skyline GTR R-35 nismo collectors Matchbox 8 box pack car?? Why would you spend $60 for one exclusive Nissan car and the rest on not super good or great premium Matchbox collectors cars they already make? You have all of those cars already in your collection buddy.

Nice haul 👏🤩. These are definitely not peg warmers where I live. I have only found the Lexus. I really wanted to find the land rover LR4, but I don't think that is going to be possible. Thanks for sharing 😉👍

I actually like the MBX Collectors line (as well as MBX other lines like Moving Parts) And I do have some of the cars, but I also dislike that Mattel doesn’t give the same attention and investment in MBX as HW get. I wish that the Collectors line and other premium lines got better looking wheels as well as metal base. But at least the tires got threaded tires. That I do miss on a lot of the new HW premium cars
