It was truly an honor fighting this boss. He makes you feel like you're not fighting a monster, but a warrior wreathed in flames.

This cutscene embodies so much for me and makes the farron's legion one of my favorite bossfights of Dark Souls 3.
That music...I'm in tears.

Just fought these guys for the first time the other day. I had chills throughout the fight. That music is otherworldly.

In all my gaming history this was probably the most memorable moment of them all. After an hour of trying to kill the boss, this cutscene kicks in. The contradicting feelings watching this are hard to put into words. Like you're in denial and despair, realising it's not over yet, but at the same time you're in awe as well watching him get up

Just fought this boss yesterday for the first time ever and man was this beautiful

This shit gives me chills man. And how he takes on the fighting style of artorias and uses his flip in phase 2 is so gorgeous and somber

I beat this boss today for the first time after a little Estus shard hunting to actually keep my health up through the fight lol. But, despite how many times I died in that first phase and how I nearly died in the 2nd phase that final time, this boss is pretty much perfection. Gorgeous music, sick design, depressing lore, the gimmick of the 2 others trying to fight you and the main one when they awaken, and it all cumulated into the fight against the true lord. It's really incredible.

If you listen closely, they chant "You got this, bro." to the last Abyss Watcher I presume.

Terrific bossfight, one of my favourite ones so far in the series (I actually beat him with 9 HP remaining at the end)

The stance he takes at the end isn’t too drastically different from the one of Artorias himself

Their blood all became unto one body and then they embered it. At this moment is the closest one abyss watcher came to matching Artorias. The communion with wolf blood to artorias(idk how this works but dark souls lore being dark souls lore) at it's full effect the undead legion now down to one.
if you look at it's eyes in phase 2 it is maddened by the abyss(like the red glowy one that attacks its comrades). Yet it still retains it's fighting style and clearly some grace of a warrior(like artorias)

I've not finished the game yet but I'm up to the Dancer and these guys are still my favorite. With the other bosses I've fought, I only felt relief once it was over, but these guys made me wanna restart and fight them again.
