The Bloodborne boss that managed to sneak it’s way into Dark Souls 3, I really like the Abyss Watchers.

Considering people opinion on Elden Ring bosses. Abyss Watcher still one of the best Multi Boss along with Demon Princes and O&S pal. Make them fight each other is really a cool gimmick but also consistent enough to become it's own mechanic. And top it off with fire trail on second phase that pave way to Gael in the Dlc

I still feel something special with these Watchers that I don't feel with anyone else. The music, the lore, that dashing armor set...I sympathize for these guys, and the music is asking us to feel that way for them.

Definitely another one of my fav boss fights from DS III. The design, music, lore, and arena behind it are so damn beautiful and tragic. If only they had this boss have more health and poise to make it a bit more challenging. Still a very badass boss fight imo.

Doing my first ever play through of this game and I instantly recognized this arena and knew I was about to get shit on

I fought the abyss watchers on a meme run using the gru curved sword and dagger (the characters named shit ass, easter of shit) and I had 2 realizations.

1. quick step feels GREAT against abyss watchers, so dynamic and fun as we dashed around each other
2. FS really should have made the ash on the watchdogs gs quick step, it lets you really mimic how they move and fight much more than the parry does. Hell if the dual welding didn't replace the block/parry key with your 2 handed attacks and just replaced the default lights they could have done both. But that light chain might be inconvenient at base so I won't complain to much there.
