Coastal Now - Makerspace Open to Everyone

The makerspace located at Coastal Carolina University’s Kimbel Library is now open to everyone. The space includes 3D printers, laser cutters, sewing capabilities, and much more. The space opened in Fall 2021, but only for organized classes. Now, anyone can access and use the space during drop-in hours. The makerspace does require completion of a certification workshop, prior to operating most pieces of equipment.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic public institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
