About Nomaden

Jean-Guihen Queyras travels the world with his colleagues from the Atlas Ensemble who are renowned for their blend of sounds from India, Azerbaijan, China, Iran and Japan. In a one-hour sound mosaic, composer Joël Bons connects the musical worlds of nineteen musical nomads with Jean-Guihen Queyras as their guide. Nomaden was commissioned by the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam.
