Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. Lieu received an artist fellowship from the MA Cultural Council, has written for the NY Times, and lectured at Brown University, the NAEA conference, and in Vancouver & China. She has been profiled in Artsy, Hyperallergic, KPCC, & WBUR.

That gelli plate is huge! I didn't even know they come that big of a size. The print turned out fantastic :)

I'm jazzed that you used inks not acrylics and the ink mixing and markmaking. Wiping out etc. Painterly. So darn tired of the whole craft/stencil/ acrylic pulls seen in most videos. Truly using the plate for actual printmaking! Love it a lot❤

Absolutely stunning work! Love your videos! I am in a desert climate and have so much trouble keeping the acrylics "open" because they dry so fast. I'm wondering if the Akua water-based inks would stay wetter longer after watching you work. What do you think?

Es ist so toll die Gelliplate mit Druckfarbe und nicht mit Acrylfarben zu sehen. Ist das Akua ink? Und was für Papier verwendest du? Ich würde mich riesig freuen, wenn es mehr Videos zum Drucken, speziell mit Safe wash inks und Gelliplate geben würde. Super Idee und klasse Print. LG Ulrike
