DepEd Order 12 s. 2024 The amendment to policy guidelines on the implementation of MATATAG Curriculum, this deped order is aligned to the commitment of DepEd of providing quality basic education to the effective and efficient implementation of the MATATAG Curriculum.

This amends DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2024 titled policy guidelines on the implementation of the matatag curriculum to accommodate the different context of schools specifically for grades three to ten.

The following are the additional provisions to part five the MATATAG curriculum paragraph thirty five

A. schools are given the flexibility in the implementation of the matatag curriculumin consideration of their specific context such as but not limited to typology (the type and the size of the school) the curricular program offerings, and the availability of teachers and classrooms subject to the following:

i. all learning areas for forty five minutes a day each for five days, and the homeroom guidance program for forty five minutes once a week or

ii. learning areas may be given uniform time allotments of fifty, fifty five, or sixty per learning area based on the following

- five times a week for the english mathematics science and good manners and right conduct our values education
-four times a week for the edukasyong pantahanan at pangkabuhayan technology and livelihood education and music arts p e and health, araling panlipunan and filipinoand
-once a week homeroom guidance program.

In circumstances were any of the given optionsis not applicableschools may propose other combinationsprovided thatthat the learning contact time is at least five hours and thirty minutes a dayso that's the minimum five hours and thirty minutes a day minimum learning contact timeanotherprovided that the time allotment for the english math science and gym r c values education shall notbe less than two hundred twenty five minutes per weekhindi siya bababa ng two hundred twenty five minutes per weekanother considerationthe time a lot men for the e papa t l e mapeh araling panlipunan and pilipino shall not be less than two hundred minutes per weekhindi rin bababa ng two hundred minutes ang time allotment ng mga subjects ng ipapa t l e mapeh araling panlipunan at filipinoand another concern consideration the time a lot meant for the homeroom guidance programshall not be less than forty five minutes per weekthe proposed combinationshall be subject to the approval of the schools division superintendent or the authorized representativeso if you have other proposed combinations aside from the two options stated earlier this must be approved by the schools division superintendentnumber three that time a lot men for learning areasin elementary and secondary education in and excess one and twoin the previous deped order deped order number ten is amended accordinglyso binabago na po ang time allotmentbased on this new guidelinesnumber four the schools division offices shall ensure that technical assistance is provided to schools in the preparation of class programsso paggagawan ng class programsthe schools division offices ay dapat magbigay ng technical assistancepaano ito nagkakaroon ng technical assistance of course the school will prepare their class programs which is subject to check by the school division officesnumber five schools may emplementthere vice class programs starting the second quarter of the school yearor upon the approval of the school division offices for those adopting option bso if you willadopt option b it must be approved by the d oor it must have started nitong second quarter ng school year
