But take it from someone who should have died in a car crash, and whose father DID die in a separate car crash, dont push yourself too hard on the road. saving a few hours isnt worth risking your, or even worse, a strangers life.

I did one roadtrip in the US. Ranted a car in Las Vegas, drove to the Grand Canyon, then from then down to Phoenix, AZ. I stayed in AZ only 2 days and fell in love with the place, had a good supper at the Rawhide ranch there, then left for San Diego, then LA, and finally SF, and took the plane back home. Of all those places, AZ was my favorite. Landscape is awesome, weather is awesome, Arizonian are awesome, and not having any fucking snow is awesome. If I get rich one day I buying property in Phoenix Suburbs. Enjoy your road trips, when you like driving there's nothing better !
