Shawscope Vol. 3

They did it! Shaw Scope Vol. 3 is here! Arrow Video’s 10 disc blu-ray box set of vol. 3 gives us fourteen more films from the Shaw Brothers studio. This is Shaw Scope Volume Three.
Inside the Vol 3 box is One-Armed Swordsman, Return of the One-Armed Swordsman, New One-Armed Swordsman, The Lady Hermit, Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan, The Magic Blade, Clans of Intrigue, Jade Tiger, The 14 Amazons, The Sentimental Swordsman, The Avenging Eagle, Killer Constable, Buddha’s Palm, and finally The Bastard Swordsman.
Like the other volumes the bonus features, commentaries, and documentaries are bountiful. There is also one more CD with music from most the films in vol. 3.
Also included is another beautiful 60-page book that has tons of photos, behind the scenes writings, and even more Shaw Brothers trivia.
Arrow as usual brings us another collection here that will have every Shaw Bros fan in a state of bliss. But what we really want is Volume 4.
