Error detection done at layer 2 using csma/cd and recovered at layer 4 if the application is using tcp protocol.else udp does not recover the frames like voip ....resulting stuck on voice ...repeated by the speaker

Sorry...not csma/cd is used to error to mac trailer in that u ll find field that will do error detection....I hope FRC
