This song was my savior. Back in 2013 when I had my 2nd daughter I went into a horrible bout of post partum depression. I had suicidal thoughts to myself and had to make a choice of bettering myself or get the children takin away fully. I gave temporary custody of my first born to my mom and temporary custody to my second daughter to her dad. Two year of counseling and facing my devil's. Loosing my apartment, my car, going through a divorce and going to custody court. Having shingles about loosing my dad after him loosing about 2 pints of blood to liver failer. Hearing this song everyday those two years made me stronger. My dad survived, I have full custody of my oldest and shared custody of my other daughter, I paid in full a car of my own. I live with my mom and my new husband my oldest daughter and now a son. Life is worth living. Don't live life a lonely road. Seek help if your going through a rough patch. You too are worth it.

6 years ago, a special someone introduced me to this song. It's his birthday today. He promised me that we'd climb a particular mountain here in my country . He died even before he was able to visit. One of the most caring, fun and adventurous person I've met. I miss him.

I loved how A7X sources Eagles as one of their influences when we have songs like this with the dueling steel and electric guitar like it’s Hotel California... they are absolutely shredding. Deeper and deeper each riff. My grandpa would never like their other stuff but he thought this “was really pretty, ” being a bluegrass fan.

My best friend at the time showed me this song when I was at my worst, now I lay crying at 4am wishing he was still my best friend. The worst lie you can tell someone is you won't leave.
