She's pretty and I really like her except for the top which is the same material used in the recent Draculaura circus doll. I appreciate the review because seeing her in person helped me with my decision to purchase her :)

I once was at a sellers home and they let me go through the bins full of dolls, and I pulled out an Artclass Skelita and was like: "omg you sooo pretty what the hell" and the seller just said:" when my wive braught these from the basement I said the exact opposite"😱😂

I do think she's better than her first collector doll but the box is not as beautiful. I just prefer the artwork instead of the photo. Didn't expect the flower crown to be hollow lol

Gosh I wanna love Dia de Los Muertos Skelita but I have so many conflicting feelings about her dress. Don't get me wrong, her face screening looks so beautiful but that dress just is soooo underwhelming fr. It just reminds of those Halloween day of dead costumes that look cheap. I don't know if it supposed to be resemble a Jalisco dress, a huipil, an escaramuza dress so it just doesn't ressonate with me as much. If it had decorative ribbons like a Jalisco dress, it would've helped tremendously with breaking the monotony of the bottom of the dress and wished her sleeves went all the way across the chest rather than just the sleeves, it just would so much better. I think her other collector doll did a much better job with the dress, especially the top as it reminds me of a huipil for me.

I'm just...idk what to say. I wanna get her but I'll have to wait for a sale because that dress is NOT it for me I'm sorry. Like don't get me wrong if you like her then I'm genuinely glad you do and I'll never put anyone down for liking a doll that I may not like, but this looks like a modern holiday Barbie and I absolutely hate it for a character like Skelita that means so much to this Mexican-american. I'm gonna have to make my own dress fr because ughh Skelita deserves so much more. Es mas le voy a decir mi mamá se me puede tejer un vestido como los que hace para los niños de dios que hace, AHhhh haber si me lo puedo hacer😭!!!
Anyways that's my opinion, I've would've wished I'd had a more positive opinion about her, I really do Angel but I'm just not vibing that $40+ price tag with that *dress* 😔. And I hate they couldn't get a Mexican voice actor for her g3 version, I love encanto but man that sucks...

My only gripe with her is her eyes… like when you put the old collector doll to the newer one..she’s lacking eyelashes (full ones) at least. But other than that she’s absolutely beautiful and a great ode to any mexican collectors collection

Okay so I have wondered the same thing about doll packaging and the tape on the back. I think the entire process in manufacturing toys is fascinating! I watched as many “how it’s made” videos I could find, but none showed the packaging process. I would assume someone tapes the back?? I think of how a person working at a pizza restaurant would fold the boxes in to shape, if that makes sense.

If it’s not a person putting the single piece of tape on the back in each spot, it must but a machine that cuts the tape and then a worker would apply it? Idk I guess it also depends on the company and what machines they would have? I promise I’m not gatekeeping i just don’t know 😭
