Aled Jones takes on a 'mission impossible' as he sets out to the Scottish Borders to find a property with at least five naturally fed ponds for a couple of wildfowl enthusiasts. Together with the ponds, they need five acres of land, a large kitchen diner and three bedrooms - all this for a maximum of £600,000.

What fun to see Aled Jones on the show!

I wonder how they got on all those years ago. It's so nice to see positive, upbeat, easy-to-please buyers. To be honest, the first two kitchens were awful, but they weren't phased at all. In the more recent episodes of ETTC, the houses tend to be pristine with little to no work needing doing. These three properties were all very interesting. Like the couple, I liked the old coach house best.

What an interesting and unique couple - leads to an interesting and unique episode.

I'd like to see a revisit. They'd be so much older now and surely looking for to downsize and be on the edge of a town.

I wasn't a big fan of house number 1 as it is especially the kitchen but with it's curb appeal, privacy being detached, and over 155k below budget, i can update and modernise it to my taste while retaining it's original features as well.
