Thanks for sharing your Tim River to Roseberry Lake experience with us. My wife and I haven't been to Roseberry Lake for over 40 years and enjoyed watching your video. I was glad to see you roping up your food bag. We had a nasty visit one night from a bear that had already hospitalized some campers about 10 miles away the same evening. We frequented the park a lot back in the day and the park staff knew us well. They also knew we carried a shotgun with us over the 20 years we used the park. That night was the only time we needed the gun as the bear circled us for several hours while we kept our kids busy stoking the fire. Thankfully we didn't need to use the gun as the bear left at daybreak. We were sad to hear that the park staff had to put the bear down in the following days.
It was great to see the old campsite with the crescent-shaped beach close by. You showed 3 beaver dams as I recall. Back in the day, there were seven and the water was much lower. Also, kudos to you for showing camping newbies to protect the park.
We always taught our kids to leave the campsite cleaner than when we arrived and like you, we only selected dead trees and deadfall for firewood.
Thanks for sharing your passions!

The pink clogs shot while sawing firewood was hilarious.

We camped on that very beach-almost got struck by lightning. I had a campsite across the lake from that site-had a Moose grazing on young Maple leaves outside my tent early in the a.m.. Thanks for the flashbacks, great video. Love Emma & Binky (her toy-lol) Looking forward to more in 2023+... I can't believe he made you haul, cut and stack that huge pile of firewood-lol, just kidding.

Another great video, thank you for taking out the time to record, edit, upload so we can enjoy places we may not get to or, are planning to see. Thanks for not playing youtube music, I'd rather hear the birds and wind noises.

Not sure you guys caught it, but there was a flash of light across the lake at 9:01 into your video. Was someone else camping across the lake from you that night?

Cool video, but it’s a bit too long for me.
