I was born between Christmas and New Years, getting run over by both holidays. So needless to say, I don't celebrate my birthday, nor Christmas. I love the little interviews of people sharing their disappointment of being neglected their birthdays instead because of the holiday roller-coaster. I SOOOO understand the dilemma not having your birthday like other people and being forgotten.I live alone with my dog and ferret and for us it's just another day. I can totally relate to these people. I'm Just another person, not born but sprouted up from the cabbage patch the wrong time of the year.

My Birthday is December 27 and my older brother his birthday is December 23. I have a sister in-law's birthday on December 22 and I have a great Nephew whose birthday is December 24th. I had a friend whose birthday was December 25.
I love having my Birthday at Christmas because the house is decorated and I get to celebrate my birthday with Jesus.
I would love having a summer birthday. I would love to celebrate Christmas and my birthday in Australia, because it is summer during our northern winter.

Personally I’ve always wondered why people laugh repeatedly when nothing funny is being said or done.

People in real life do this too.

Maybe his “non funny” laugh is scripted into the movie.

Bad casting choice for the role of Kevin. This character is supposed to be an adult and a successful vet, but comes across as a scared nervous little boy, his poor acting spoiled the movie for me.

I love the movie...but I am going to move on to the girls and boys, and a lot of my friends, same story, they are born on Christmas or round about that time and they only got 1 present. If any. What is wrong with such parents, Have a small birthday party on the side, even if its just cake and 2 friends. Spend just a tiny bit less on Christmas, Believe you me, your child is going to be the happiest child ever. Every child deserves that birthday, present then and presents at Christmas.

GREAT, original premise - poorly executed IMHO - so sad...the lead actor [Veterinarian] is v-e-r-y stiff & giggly far too often, the female 'team leader' is an over-the-top vamp & the 'pretty face' male co-worker seems a little l-o-s-t! Too bad! L8R [21:18]
