One handed clove and munter hitch

If you need to quickly secure yourself to an anchor, clipping a quickdraw, grabbing it with one hand, and then tying a clove hitch with the other hand is a good way to do it. There are lots of similar videos on YouTube, most of them neglect to mention one important tip: it matters which direction the bottom carabiner faces. For me, as a right hander, I want the bottom gate facing to the right.

Tying a one-handed Munter hitch is the exact same motion, only you do it with the strand that's between you and the carabiner.

Shouldn’t your end of the rope be along the spine and not the gate side?
