@239494, you make a good point here. As one who grew up Witness and freed myself from it in my mid-twenties, I know you're telling the truth about the clean living many Witnesses embrace. In fact, I was one of them, and when I decided I would begin exploring sex, I left them first so that I wouldn't taint their good reputation and make a mockery of their organizational rules. While there is much wrong with their organization, there is also much right, and I'm glad you pointed that out.

Brother, thanks for posting this hidden gem from the '53 Watchtower. Your tongue in cheek sarcasm is appropriate here. Anyone coming into contact with a JW and discussing the Org's policies will quickly see that they are totally under MK and exhibit program thinking, group think and are incapable of independent, critical thought when it comes to the WTS (Who has hijacked and stolen their lives and minds from them), transforming them into obedient slaves peddling litterature from door to door and propogating it's dogma while filling their own cars with gas to do so.

No Juan, I never did...but I am now. The reason I follow the bible, is because with all the people who wrote it they all had one theme, I am a historical romance author, and it's not too easy to stay on track, without sometimes going off on a tangent. For someone to keep the same theme and show different sides of life, faults, failures, and accomplishments, and the resolve to stay firm in one belief. No someone of very high intelligence was behind the writing of the bible.

you're probably the most real worshiper I've ever met. It's nice to see some of you are sain lol I don't mean any disrespect by that. I love this quote you put " I want to serve and follow Jesus.. not a name of religion.." This is very true at the core except one little thing brother... The real Jesus never wanted to be worshiped or followed nor did he pray to a selfish controlling God/Father. The real Jesus was passionate about teaching the real meaning of forgiveness and unconditinal love!

A friend was disfellowshipped, and I was the only one who cried. A note was handed to me that said we do not grieve the disfellowshipped ones. Some research I did last night on Google, I found about Rutherford & Hitler, but what I read is that he was going against Hitler, saying he won't resort to Hitler's ways & will only to God's. However, I'll still look more up- I'm all about research! Thx again!

Well put my friend and I already undstood everything you put in the paragraph above. Sorry for coming off as preachy cause I know I was LOL but it was totally nessassary. Yeah it is very rare to find true christ like people. Ones that respect all life even the evil ones. Ones that don't impose their beliefs on others when they know it's wrong to do.
