You say around the 4 minute mark that the minimization was so that humans didn't have to type as much. The minimization was to save disk space. At the time storage was very expensive. Every character not typed saves storage.

the video was so helpful and joyful ! thanks alot but there is a small problem that I feel like things got missed up I think you should separate every markup language for its own I feel a little bit confused after watching it but it was really really helpful thanks
