Unboxing the new Alta Labs AP6 Pro #asmr #unboxing oxing #wifi6

Unboxing and taking a look at what comes with the brand new Alta Labs access point AP6 Pro. They claim "Wifi 6 with WiFi 7 benefits", "Superior Range and Performance", and "IP54 Rated" (Pro version only). We'll definitely be putting that to the test.
The AP6 Pro has 6 streams allowing a combined 6.3 Gbps of WiFi capacity from the 4096 QAM inside (Pro version only). This is a great little AP that can be run via POE+, in a fairly small form factor of just 190 x 125 x 32 mm (or 7.5 x 4.9 x 1.25"). Bonus: This AP supports 300+ concurrent clients. All this for $179 (at the time of this video).

A few downsides: Only cloud-based management at this time (they do plan to offer other methods soon), the single Ethernet is only gigabit, not multi-gig like offerings by Netgear (WAX610) and others, and doesn't come with wall power adapter for those without POE switches or injectors.

Look out Unifi, Netgear, TP-Link, Alta Labs is coming for your market share.
