As someone trying to switch to Samsung as I'm the only one in my family with iPhone, among other reasons (dex, camera, UI freedom, AI) I tried before with the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Galaxy A35 but I didn't stay, this could be the year I upgrade as the S25 ultra along with One UI 7 seem to a good time to upgrade!

On my s24 ultra there is an option to record 120fps UHD in pro video and also 120fps slow motion is under the slow mo setting. That was present before iPhone.
So simply wrong information

I trade in my Galaxy Ultra every year. Even if the S25 U is twice as powerful, I doubt there will be any real difference in everyday usage from the previous model. I trade in my phone because Samsung gives wonderful trade in deals.

The camera system is very underwhelming and honestly killing the hype. A lot of users are camera-centric and doesn't really care too much about computing power although we recognize that computing power is also essential for post processing but Hardware upgrade is way much important than Processing.

I have a note 10+ so it's time for an upgrade and will most likely get the s25 ultra. I'm more excited for the snapdragon 8 elite. 120 hrtz. So it's def an big upgrade for me. I don't upgrade every yr like alot of pple so I'll be good.

Others have said the AI that will be used would improve the processing of photos, so confusing when different reviewers say different things. I had the S24 Ultra and sent it back as the camera wasn't as good as my 8 Pro, so I got the 9 Pro XL, I intend to try the S25 Ultra on release and test the camera well, if no better I'll return and stick with my 9 Pro XL. 🇬🇧

the plus and the regular are just sad at this point. I have the s24 ultra and I think I won't be upgrading next year.

I agree with this, except that the snapdragon upgrade includes the qualcomm X80 modem. Also, the ultra size is smaller and lighter which is nice!
The new iPhone has Horrible reception so the S25 is still a welcome upgrade over that!

Xiaomi 15 with 6.3 inch display using 5400 mah Battery which is also packed with 8 Elite while Samsung comes with 4000 mah in 2025!💩 are you kidding me?🤣

They said the ultra would be super expensive. i guess i will get the Oneplus 13. I liked the camera of vivo and honor magic.
