FYI the Wild Bird Fund on Columbus Ave that Cash points out in the video is a really great organization that rescues and rehabilitates injured, sick, or orphaned wild birds from all over NYC. Usually the injured birds are brought in by residents of the city. Often the cause of injury with these birds is high-rise window strikes during flight. They also work with injured turtles and other small animals. They have a great staff of veterinarians and volunteers and run on donations.

Seeing the old building conversions to new rentals, I always wondered what they were like 50 years ago. That one bedroom was probably someone's living room only.

Cash i love the way you utilized the 'subway staircases' to the same theme you had before you moved !!

The Park is the best feature of the apartment.

That patio makes the studio better. than the almost one bedroom that looks 3 feet wide.

The studio with the outdoor patio is the best choice between these 2 apartments.

I live in the neighborhood and there is a Trader Joes 6 blocks up on 92nd which is nice and cheaper than Gristedes

I wish you could knock down the wall in the one bedroom & just make that a big studio. The windows would be so pretty without that wall cutting them off.

I wish I could move there, as both of these places look very sweet. My lease in Portland is up in February 2022 and I'll be moving to NYC when my lease is up. Cash, thank you for your channel *praying hands emoji*

I like the second apartment's big windows. Another great tour!

A bathroom remodel could probably yield a good $200/extra in rent. And a new kitchen faucet, and lighter cabinets. Landlords need to invest a bit.

Osteria Cotta was a huge part of why I didn’t want to move away from 84 & Columbus, however, my old landlord updated my sink and took away the sink sprayer... I couldn’t abide by that 😭

“shrine to your god“ at this point it’s like a game where i predict when you’re gonna say that lol and I’m getting good at it

I'd have rather they'd kept the second one as a studio with the big bay window instead of splitting it into a "bedroom".

even though none of these apts are for me, but i'm really glad that the kitchen is in a separated area in the studio.

I love the huge patio that comes with the first floor apartment.
It's like an apartment with a front yard - except you don't have to mow the lawn.
It's big enough for a summer picnic - you can share your food with the rats.
If you need more privacy, just yell "Hey you kids, get off my lawn!"

Being so close to the park is a definite plus! Also, that bird shop looked interesting! I love birds, I have a pigeon 😁

I always end up singing "Get Low " after watching your videos. Windows, to the wall, sweat running... ALL DAY LONG LOL

Whenever Cash says 'From the windows to the wall' I start singing for some

I'll take the 2nd apartment for the extra $300 but it never ceases to amaze me about the skinny bedrooms ...the bedrooms I mean really they are skinny! But I do love the exposed brick and the fireplace whether or not you can use it it does look nice and has a shelf above it... It's also interesting that these apartments still have the old timey colored tile on the walls
