Mike Tomlin is such a unique individual …the way he has the ability to look like he doesn’t care because the question isn’t directed at him, yet still appears engaged through the interview to were you know he’s prepared with an answer to questions that he hasn’t even considered he might be asked. These are unique social traits that can’t be taught. It just requires the individual to be highly sophisticated. Tomlin also has a way of bringing humor to the party even though he looks like the most serious person in the room . Coach, you must draft a natural center with no history of major injuries.
This position is paramount to a strong and winning offensive line. A true center should know all positions on the lines duties. Centers are a different breed of lineman. Don't skimp on the center position, and the worst thing you can do is try to train a guard or tackle to be a center!
