He should have been 1st for sure but if he was first than it would been a race thing. I went to an all white school just about and we had this kid on our team and he suck so the coach never put him in during the game. So his parents made a complaint and said it was races so the coach had to put him in and the coach treated him differently so he play longer than most of our other team mates. He lost the championship for us one year lol.
