Still 90plus here in Texas 9b . Hardening off all brassicas and greens to plant out next week. My peppers look so dern good now, they are loaded with buds. It's going to hurt my feelings pulling fully loaded pepper plants with gorgeous foliage. Overwintering a few but the rest it's adios . Okra is producing like gangbusters and will do so until December. Happy fall gardeners ❤❤❤

Snake gourds do great in that weather. Longevity spinach too. We hope you're okay after Helene 🙏

I planted out transplants of broccoli, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts today. Getting ready to do some beets and some carrots and some onions… Hope it’s not too late for onions

Thanks for the encouragement! I was a little sad in my garden today. So much rain! It's a muddy mess. I'm hoping October is better.

Hey man, don’t stress if you end up having to just cover everything up with the cover crop and refresh during the off-season.
That is not last time… And I have no doubt you will begin again early next spring with explosive energy!
Cheers!

Here in MI the tomatoes I started from seed all the way back in February are still alive and producing. We’ve had an extremely warm year. If I can avoid a frost this garden could continue into November! All my gardening relatives/friends here are shocked I’m still going strong. Pretty crazy to be producing from March through November in Michigan, that’s unheard of. And I literally did just one sowing of tomatoes for the whole year

I live in Idaho and I'm still getting tomatoes, cucumbers and, of course, melons! Lots of Pumpkins until the end of October. Fall is certainly with us. Love your videos!

My garden bottomed out too and now all of a sudden I have okra that's almost too big and my Cherokee tan pumpkins started all over again in a different location and my hot lemon peppers hit a whole new stride and started producing like crazy. Now I'm reluctant to kill the things I had planned on taking out this weekend. But I have sooo much lettuce, greens, onions, rutabagas, garlic, herbs and so much more that needs a place to go. I only have so much space. This second wind has thrown me for a loop

Just be careful with huracán Helene. Here in Florida the whole state is in alert. Be safe.

Good stuff 👏🏻

We live in Central British Columbia, getting ready to plant a bunch of garlic, and letting my peppers ride out as long as I can before the first frost

Will I live in Ohio. And I watched one of your videos and decided to try the siletz tomato. It's the very end of September and my plant looks amazing. It's gangbuster big and it's in a very small small pot. I cannot believe the number of flowers I have right now and new fruit. And I did not prune and take off any suckers. This baby is fantastic. Almost cordless almost seedless. I leave on the vine to fully ripen and then I take it off and let it ripen a few more days. Flavor and texture incredible. It's still a compact grower and the leaves are deeper green than all other tomato plants that I grew this year. It is phenomenal

Man it’s tough…I worked up some motivation and just finished spraying some BT. Pickleworms started hitting the cucumbers again and caterpillars have been munching holes in my tomatoes….also another round of those lil tiny caterpillars that decimate leaves by the hour. Shew, it’s been a long season. Gardening here is not for the faint of heart 😂

I thought my pepper plants were done giving after a nearly a month of nothing, but I'm just now noticing that they're producing again. Our evenings are starting to dip in temperature too, and yet my tomatoes are still producing as well.

I bought the plastic supports you recommended. My peppers are still going crazy. So I used those to tie them up. Yea I love them!
