I used the Nantucket color, in the beyond paint, on on kitchen cabinets in a rental. Love it so much that I'm going to do my kitchen to.

I will be tackling this project around Jan or Feb, I have been researching for the last 6 months. I purchased a new home and there are old Old Cabinets in a dark honey color, I want to give the cabinets a somewhat light distressed look. I have ordered a sample size of Off White/Bone color and will lightly distress so the dark shows through slightly. My nephew just gifted me their old Cabinet Hardware, which I love and wanted to purchase the exact style and discovered they were over my budget and now I have the exact style I wanted, I only will need to spray paint them to the color I want to match my decor!

Handy tip not mentioned. Is to number you doors and drawers before you remove them, so you can put them back in the correct order easier.

Great video. I'm tackling the same project, I like the tack brush for the corners. I would suggest a better drill like a impact driver, essential when pulling screws from the cabinets. I suggest Milwalkee or ryobi since you already have one.

I am thinking of repairing my old decrepit kitchen cupboards with Beyond Paint so thanks for this great tutorial! Is the sealer necessary? It claims it is primer, paint, and sealer in one.

You may want to use a razer blade to go along the edge of blue tape that is closest to the painted surface espically if the paint has dried. It helps remove the tape without pulling off chips of paint.

These look like oak cabinets. Did this fill in the natural grain of the wood or was there still a texture?

Did you use Beyond paint in flat or semi gloss or does it only come in one type? If only one type, do the cabinets look flat or have a little Sheen? I always think cabinets should have a little sheen to look more professional....just my opinion.

I painted our built in desks with pewter beyond paint. They look amazing! We waited 24 hours before carefully screwing on the new hardware. My husband scratched the paint off without even knowing he touched it. I took my nail and slid it across an area that would not be seen and like that, it scratched completely off. I of course cleaned them first. Is there anything I can do to make this work, especially since they are all done? Should I seal them? (Though I was informed I didn't need to.) I am wrecked over this. It was expensive and time consuming. I am anxious to think that I may have to scrape all of it off, sand and try something else.

Is this any good for MDF doors my kitchen has the plastic /laminate cracking so am thinking of peeling it off and repainting .
