Train ride from Martigny to Chamonix (February 2019)

While staying in Lausanne, we went to Chamonix for a day trip. The idea was to go to the Aiguille du Midi but it was fogged over while, unexpectedly, the train ride turned out to be a series of gorgeous wintry scenes. In fact, winter helps a bit because tree leaves do not block the view as much!

A pity that you missed the Aiguille du Midi trip but, as you say, the winter scenery through the bare landscape made up for it.
Also many thanks for not making the usual mistake and covering the natural sounds with Muzak! Something that I find intolerable. If I think that a video needs a sound track I can add Mozart or Megadeath via headphones as appropriate. But we CANNOT remove some fool's moronic overdub drowning out the sounds of nature! 😉😊
