Yes, the engine rooms are the heaviest underwater part of the ship, but Kirishima closed her doors and opened pumps, she also received most damage above the waterline, on the structure, hull and tower.
She did receive hits from multiple USN ships, because there wasn't just Washington, there were many other USN Destroyers and Cruisers which targeted her. Washington logically made the biggest damage, due to the fact she was a Battleship.
Also, survivors from Kirishima said that she was scuttled.

You have to take into account that her armor was just 50-350mm thick, and that isn't enough to withstand 150 and 205mm calibers on all places. She was also just 210m long, which means that she couldn't withstand so many hits.
Destroyers and Cruisers did damage to her, and that was also due to fact that the engagement was at close range, because it was at night. So, Washington can't earn this title.

Was giving an example. The ship that did the the other ships did do damage, they where not causing near enough to cause her to sink. It is the (According to recent damage survey) the 22 heavy shells from Washington that did that.

You missed the point. She was hit by 3 rounds, but is considered a 1 hit kill because the first 2 didn't cause any structural damage, hell, they hardly caused any damage at all.

Pretty much yeah.
The Washington gets credit because she had the only guns that could possible do the damage required to sink her. Makes me think of the Bismark vs Hood. The Bismark hit hood 3 times but only is credited with a 1 hit kill. The first round just glanced past the Hood killing a few people, but otherwise useless. A second round hit Hood's observation deck, but no one was in there. The last punched through Hood's armor into an ammo storage unit, which ignited and blew her up.

Those hits didn't just land, but also did damage, and I've proved how and why. Washington did damage, but not alone, and due to that she don't have that title.
They sank it together because she sank after the battle, none of them did a fateful hit which would sink her immediately by blowing up her ammo or fuel, like the Bismarck did to Hood.

Scuttling 101. The engine is by far the heaviest part of the ship. Flood the engine compartments ship will sink. Closed compartments prevent flooding.
That isn't proof because there are many ships that can stay afloat for a long time before actually going under. The Ady Gil (Really small boat but still valid) was afloat for 24 hours after being critically damaged before she finally went under.
The only confirmed hits on her where from the Washington, and the Washington is credited with the kill.

Without achieving anything? In the battle off Samar she took 2 cruisers out of action and saved 5 of the small carriers she was with and the Captain got a Medal of Honor. I call that exceptional remembering the odds she faced.
Yamato went against 10 carriers and planes. USS Johnston went against 23 Japanese warships before american planes where even scrambled.
Bismark sank her first voyage only sinking 1 ship The USS Wisconsin sank many more and is the only battleship to kill another battleship.

No friend, you got me wrong, Battlecruiser existed in WWII, no doubt about it, but it was an old WWI era ship, which wasn't in production anymore in WWII.
Hood, Repulse, Renown were all Battlecruisers, but they all were also WWI era ships which were outdated in WWII. I don't know any WWII Battlecruiser - That kind of a ship died out in WWII, only survivors from WWI were present.

Which I have explained to you several times over that they where not the hits that caused her to sink. It was the 22 heavy rounds from the Washington that did that which is why Washington is credited with the kill.

The odds of a ship hitting one of those is slim, and if every kill ever was counted like that there would be a list as long as my leg for most of them.

Richelieu not even mentionned... and she was with her sistership Jean-Bart just behind the Iowas and Yamatos. Preposterous.

Bismarck was the most successful due to the fact that she was the only Battleship in WWII which sank another one. USS Wisconsin didn't sink any enemy one.
The USS Washington was one which fought with IJN Kirishima, but she didn't sink her, nor Kirishima was scuttled the next day.

You want to know what makes the coolest battleship? It ain't the guns, the armor, or the speed. It's the crew. Which is why, the coolest ship of WW2 isn't even a Battleship or a Carrier. (though one could make an argument for some ships) The coolest ship is by far the USS Johnston. A lone destroyer that charged a group of Japanese battleships cruisers and destroyers. Even after taking a severely damaging hit she continued to fight on until being sunk.

the yamato and mushashi are from the same class

Yes, the wreck was found in two pieces and explored, but not inside. Also, the best proof of scuttling is survivor which said that she was scuttled by opening all watertight doors and turning off the pumps, which means that it wasn't too late, or wasn't completed.
And what are you trying to prove? Even if she was sank by the USN, title doesn't go to Washington, because there were many other USN ships which damaged her - Bismarck remains the only one which sank another one.

Kirishima closed all watertight doors, but when the order to scuttling came, they opened them, together with pumps. What does the engine compartments prove about scuttling?
The best proof that she was scuttled is the one I've already said - she sank away from the USN fleet, after the battle, by her own crew.
She was only damaged by the USN, and scuttled due to that, plus even if she was sank by Washington, title doesn't go to Washington, because she was damaged by multiple vessels.

Thank you for that you agree with me.
The battleships that totally shouldn't be here are HMS Repulse and INS Fuso and Kongo, because those were old WWI Battleships. I also personally won't put S. Dakota, because she was just a shorter version of Iowa, same as N. Carolina - same shit, different length.

Firstly, Battlecruiser or Battleship - the same. Battlecruiser had the same weight, length, and armament of the Battleship, only reduced armor on some spots, to achieve higher speed. Also, Battlecruiser ceased to exist as a naval term in WWII, and Germans considered the Hood as a Battleship.
Secondly, never mind if you accidentally mixed those two ships, but again, the Washington didn't sink Kirishima, she was scuttled the away the next day, due to heavy damage sustained by the USN ships.
