I’m literally crying habang pinapakinggan ko ito. It reminds me of my lolo. Napakaganda at sobrang ganda po ng pagkakatugtog ni lola. Full of soul and yung meaning is there. I grew up with my grandparents at ito ang paboritong kinakanta ng lolo ko habang nagwawalis sa umaga, tinutugtog sa ukulele, at sinisipol-sipol. Kaso kinuha na siya ng panginoon, whenever I remember him, I always play this on my ukulele but when I saw this video it inspired me more to see lola playing this beautiful piece. Hindi niyo man ho ako kilala lola pero salamat po dahil pinasaya niyo po ang puso ko. You really touched my heart lola. Mabuhay po kayo.

Thank you lola for your rendition; memories of my childhood in Panagsinan with my grandparesnts embracing me while listening, sweet and sad tears cant help falling. My lolo & lola are my heroes, they paved the way so much for me to get into where Iam now. My lola is 85 now and lolo was with the Lord already. My lolo never fails to share his cup of coffee with me every afternoon after highschool class, both my granparents tells a lot of stories during thier younger years "panahon ng hapon". My lolo is my bestfriend, teacher & fan, he has so much faith in me that I can be someone-and it became a reality. This piece touch my heart & soul so much, salamat po Lola Luisa & Megasmiles for this.God bless po!

It's just so lovely, Grandma! Looking at her at the piano, I suddenly remember my own grandmother, Rufina (Inay) Ramos Ventura whose favorite song was Malinac Lay Labi.
